This is an application for suspension of
sentence. It has been submitted by the learned counsel
for the applicant that the applicant was on bail during
trial. The Revision Petition has been admitted. There
are arguable points in the revision. In these
circumstances, operation of judgments passed by the
learned Courts below as also the substantive sentence
imposed upon the applicant/ petitioner is suspended,
subject to the applicant depositing the fine amount, if
not already deposited, in the learned Trial Court
within a period of 8 weeks and furnishing personal
bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one surety in the
.
like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Trial
Court within the same period, with an undertaking
therein that the applicant shall appear in the Court as
and when directed and shall surrender to serve out
the sentence imposed, in case his revision is ultimately
dismissed. r The application stands disposed of
