Government Law College, Thiruvananthapuram formed in 1875 is one of the oldest institutions imparting legal education in India. Affiliated to the Faculty of Law of the University of Kerala, the college is supervised and controlled by the Government of Kerala. The National Service Scheme Unit of GLC TVPM also has a proud history of community service of over 50 years commencing from the year 1969.
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Government Law College, Thiruvananthapuram is organizing a TWO DAY NATIONAL SEMINAR on Transgressing Child Rights: A Retreat of Cultural, Social And Moral Values on November 21 and 22, 2019.
The seminar envisages a discussion and presentation on three aspects namely Child Rights, Violations of Child Rights
and Child Protection.
The organizers of the Seminar call upon legal professionals, academicians from other social science disciplines, administrators, university students, young and upcoming research scholars, social activists and representatives of governmental and non – governmental organizations to present their research papers relevant to the mentioned themes.
An abstract not exceeding 350 words shall be submitted in .doc or .docx format for consideration on or before 4th November 2019 to iqac.glc.tvpm[at]gmail.com. Co-authorship up to 2 persons is permitted.
The abstract shall indicate the name, designation, Institution details, e-mail address and Telephone numbers of all contributors. In the case of co-authorship, each author will have to register separately in the event of participation in the
seminar.
Selected abstracts will be intimated after blind peer review. Thereafter, the full papers shall be submitted on or before 10th November to iqac.glc.tvpm[at]gmail.com.
Revision (if any) suggested by the reviewer of the paper shall be included.
Revisions suggested are on the basis of blind peer review. Abstracts and full papers mailed to iqac.glc.tvpm[@]gmail.com on or before 10th November will only be considered. Status of the acceptance of full papers shall be communicated after blind peer review and plagiarism check.
The registration details shall be informed with the communication of acceptance.
Best Paper from the seminar shall be awarded the title of “BEST RESEARCH PAPER”.
