09/03.08.2022 This criminal appeal has been filed against the judgment of conviction and
order of sentence dated 04.02.2017 and 15.02.2017 respectively passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Simdega in S.T. No.104 of 2015 arising out of Kurdeg P.S. Case No.15 of 2015, whereby the appellant has been convicted for the offence under Sections 341 and 307 of IPC and the maximum sentence imposed upon him is R.I. for five years with a fine of Rs.5,000/- for the offence under Section 307 of IPC.
From the report received from the jail authority dated 06.04.2022, it appears that appellant has been released after serving out of his sentence.
Learned counsel for the appellant has submitted that he has instruction not to press the present appeal.
In view of above fact, the present appeal is, hereby, disposed of.
