01. The present contempt petition arises out of an order/judgment dated

07.08.2023 passed in WP(C) No. 1984/2023 by virtue of which, the aforesaid

writ petition was disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the

claim of the petitioner in terms of notices issued by the respondents dated

27.06.2020 and 12.12.2022 within a period of three weeks from the date

certified copy of this order, writ petition along with its annexures were served

upon respondent Nos. 3 and 4.

02. Ms. Chetna Manhas, learned counsel appearing vice Ms. Monika Kohli,

Sr. AAG assures this Court that the order/judgment passed by this Court shall be

complied with within two weeks from today.

03. In light of the assurance extended to this Court by the counsel for the

respondents, no fruitful purpose shall be served to keep the instant petition alive.

04. As such, the present petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to

comply with the aforesaid order/judgment passed by this Court within two 2025:JKLHC-JMU:3460

weeks from today and convey the decision thereafter to the petitioner. The

proceedings in the instant petition are closed. Rule, if any, shall stand

discharged. In case, the judgment of this Court is not complied with the

aforesaid period, the petitioner shall be at liberty to revive the instant petition

and in that eventuality, coercive measures shall be taken against the respondents.
