ORDER
Since the instnat appeal is against the judgment and order dated 29.03.2008 passed by the Court of 3rd Additional Sessions Judge, Jammu, whereby the judgment and order of conviction passed by the Judicial Magistrate, Akhnoor dated 15.12.2001, convicting the appellant for commission of offences punishable under Sections 354/356 RPC, has been upheld. It is required to be decided first as to whether the appeal lies or the revision lies against the order impugned. Learned counsel for the appellant is directed to advance arguments on this point on the next date of hearing. The appellant shall also be produced before this Court on the next date of hearing.
There is no representation on behalf of the respondent. The case pertains to District Jammu and Mr. Pawan Dev Singh, Dy. AG conducts the cases pertaining to District Jammu. Registry is directed to reflect his name in the cause list as counsel for the respondent.
