The present petition has been filed by the petitioner inter alia seeking

direction to the respondents to remove the name of the petitioner from the register

maintained under the surveillance of bad characters circular vide notification No.

13 of the 02.01.1892.

Response stands filed by the respondents in which the details of the

various FIRs has been made.

The present petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent

No. 2 to consider the claim of the petitioner for removal of his name from the

aforementioned register within a period of six weeks, from the date a copy of this

order is made available to the respondent No. 2, along with the application and

judgments passed in those FIRs.
