The instant petition has been filed for grant of

following substantive reliefs:

(i) an appropriate writ, order or direction in the facts and

circumstances of the case may kindly be passed and allowed the present petition by releasing the petitioner on parole to meet his family and to maintain the family and social ties for four weeks in the interest of law and justice.

(ii) an appropriate writ, order or direction in the facts and circumstances of the case may kindly be passed by issuing the time bound direction to the respondents to decide the petitioner parole application, which is pending

2 Learned Advocate General has placed on record

communication dated 3.8.2021, which reveals that 28 days'

parole has been sanctioned in favour of the petitioner and he

has been released on parole in terms of recommendations of

District Magistrate, Malda (West Bengal), thereby rendering the

instant petition infructuous.

3 In view of above, the petition is disposed of, as having

been rendered infructuous, so also the pending application(s), if

any.
