Heard Mr. S.C. Biswas, learned counsel for the appellant as well as Mr. B.B. Gogoi, learned Addl. P.P., Assam for the State/respondent No. 1.

This appeal under Section 374 Cr.P.C. has been preferred against the impugned judgment and order, dated 07.06.2022, passed by the learned Page No.# 3/3

Sessions Judge (POCSO Act), Bijni, Chirang in Special (P) Case No. 05(B)/2022 convicting the appellant under Section 354 of the IPC and Section 10 of the POCSO Act, 2012 and sentencing him to undergo S.I. for 6 years as well as to pay fine of Rs.10,000/-, in default, to undergo S.I. for another 6 months u/s 10 of the POCSO Act.

This appeal is admitted.

Issue notice to the respondent No. 2. Steps be taken by registered post with A/D within 3(three) days.

List after 4(four) weeks.
