About the Opportunity

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the following position in a purely time-bound research project at the School of Law, Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology, Avadi, Chennai – 600 062, Sponsored by Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi – 110 067.

Title of the Project: Socio-Economic Empowerment through Improving Sex Ratio: An Empirical Study with special reference to Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) in Dharumapuri District of Tamil Nadu.

Eligibility Criteria

• Postgraduate in a social science discipline (55% minimum) with NET / M.Phil. / PhD
• Good communication skills, both written and oral in Tamil and English.
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, use of the internet, email communication and web-based research
• Experience in coordinating and collecting data (quantitative and qualitative) and research processes
• Proficiency in SPSS, R, or any statistical software, good analytical ability and competent writing skills.

Remuneration

Rs. 47,000.
