Examiner of Trade Marks and Geographical Indications under the Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trade Marks, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
Duties: Under the superintendence and direction of the Registrar, the Examiner of Trade Marks & Geographical Indications examines application for registration of Trade Marks as per the provision of Trade Marks Act, 1999 and Rules framed thereunder. The Examiner of Trade Marks and Geographical Indications can be assigned any other work related to the subject by the Registrar.

Education: Degree in Law of a recognized University.
Experience: Two years’ experience in handling court cases and other legal matters or in handling matters of Trade Marks or Geographical Indications.
