G.S.R. 626(E). - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 21, read with Section 7 of the Coinage Act, 1906 (3 of 1906), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules, namely :-
- Short title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Coinage of the One Hundred Rupees and Five Rupees coined to Commemorate the occasion of "100 Years of Indian Council of Medical Research" Rules, 2011.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
- Standard weight and remedy allowed.- Standard weight and remedy allowed on coins of 100 and 5 denominations, coined under the provision or Section 6 of the Coinage Act 1906 (3 of 1906) to commemorate the occasion of "100 Years of Indian Council of Medical Research" and the remedy allowed in making of such coins shall be as specified in the Table below :-
