The present writ petition has been filed seeking the

following relief:-

"1. That this writ application is going to be filed for direction to the respondents to appoint the petitioner as compassionate ground on the post of Class-IV on which the petitioner is entitled after death of his father, who died during his service period.

Further, direction to the respondent to dispose of the application filed by the petitioner before the authority concern for his appointment on compassionate ground."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the Respondent-

Patna High Court CWJC No.10240 of 2015 dt.18-08-2023

State submits that the appointment of the deceased father of the

petitioner itself has been found to be illegal, which has been affirmed

up to the Division Bench of this Court, by a judgment dated

19.9.2014, passed in L.P.A. No. 958 of 2012, hence, the

petitioner cannot be granted appointment on compassionate

ground.

3. Having regard to the aforesaid submissions made by the

learned counsel for the Respondent-State, I do not find any

merit in the present writ petition, thus, the present writ petition

stands dismissed.
