CORAM:
HON'BLE MR JUSTICE VINOD CHATTERJI KOUL, JUDGE
ORDER
31.05.2023
1. There was no representation on behalf of petitioner on the last four consecutive hearings; same is the position today as well.
2. These contempt petitions are on board since 2016. Incumbents, against whom instant petition has been filed, might have retired or been transferred to some other office/s. In such circumstances, keeping contempt petition pending would serve no advantageous purpose.
3. In the above backdrop, both the contempt petitions are closed. However, petitioner shall be free to approach the incumbents in office with a copy of the order/judgment, with respect whereof instant petition has been filed, for its implementation, unless already complied with. It is made clear here that in the event petitioner feels unsatisfied qua implementation of the directions of this Court, he shall be free to file appropriate proceedings for compliance thereof in accordance with law.
4. Bothe the contempt petitions are, accordingly, closed.
