1. Matter taken up in the revised list. No one appears on behalf of the appellant to press this appeal. Sri Bade Lal Bind, learned counsel for the State is present.

2. The present appeal under Section 374 (2) Cr.P.C has been preferred by the appellant against the judgment and order dated 7.8.2001 passed by Addl. Sessions Judge, Allahabad, Court No.18 in S.T. No.137 of 1993.

3. As per the office report dated 18.2.2020, a report of C.J.M., Allahabad dated 12.2.2020 has been received stating therein that the sole appellant Raj Kumar has died on 20.7.2018. The said report has been sent after due inquiry.

4. This Court has perused the said report which states that the accused-appellant Raj Kumar has died on 20.7.2018.

5. In view of the above, the appeal stands abated.

6. File consigned to records.

7. Office to communicate this order to the District and Sessions Judge, concerned within two weeks.
