The notifications dated 26.5.2009 and 9.11.2009 challenged in the present writ petition were also under challenge in Civil Misc. Writ Petition No. 10428 of 2010 (Tarachand & Ors. vs. State of U.P. & Ors.). The said writ petition was dismissed by this Court vide its judgment and order dated 31.8.2010 and the Special Leave to Appeal (Civil) No. 35211 of 2010 filed against the order of this Court has also been rejected by the Supreme Court vide its order dated 11.2.2011.

In view of the aforesaid, the present writ petition is also dismissed in terms of the order dated 11.2.2011 passed by the Supreme Court.
