About IFHE
The ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (IFHE) is a deemed-to-be-University established under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956. IFHE’s comprehensive student-centric learning approach provides relevant knowledge, imparts practical skills and inculcates a positive attitude among the students. Today, IFHE is one of the largest multi-disciplinary universities in the country. The Faculty of Management, Faculty of Science and Technology, Faculty of Law and ICFAI School of Architecture and ICFAI School of Social Sciencesare the main building blocks of the university, all the UG programs offered by the ICFAI Law School are approved *by* Bar Council of India and other programs are in accordance with the UGC norms.
IFHE has been permitted by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, to start an Off-Campus Centre at Bangalore, Karnataka.

The Centre for Excellence in IPR is a constituent of ICFAI Law School, IFHE, Hyderabad to promote research and awareness in the field of intellectual property rights. The centre is dedicated to impart IP education and training to students, academicians and professionals across the country. The centre for IPR is established to promote interdisciplinary research in the area of intellectual property law, science, technology, arts and economics. The centre for IPR is looking forward to undertake research projects on the contemporary issues of importance related to intellectual property rights. The centre provides consultancy services to the innovator, creators and entrepreneurs on the filing, registration, protection, management and infringement of intellectual property rights. The
centre also regularly organises conferences, seminars and webinars to spread IP awareness among the students, academicians and professionals.

The Conference on “Intellectual Property and Sustainable Development: Towards a Better Future” provides a forum for collaborative discussion on academic and policy issues committed to advancing the realization of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through a balanced and socially responsive intellectual property framework. In the contemporary era of rapid advancement, where innovation drives transformative solutions and inclusive technological progress, intellectual property rights play a crucial role in shaping the sustainability of development. This conference seeks to critically examine how the existing intellectual property regime can be recalibrated to promote green technology dissemination, equitable access to medicines, biodiversity conservation, protection of traditional knowledge, and inclusive innovation ecosystems aligned with the SDGs. By bringing together students, academicians, researchers, policymakers, legal practitioners, and industry experts, the conference aims to generate policy recommendations and collaborative research networks that directly contribute to sustainable development discourse. SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
- Students, research scholars, academicians, professionals, and practitioners in the field of Law, or any other interdisciplinary field.
- Abstract and Full Paper submissions Formatting: Font - Times New Roman, font size 12, spacing 1.5.
- Footnotes: Footnoting style: Bluebook 20th Edition, Times New Roman, font size 10, single-spaced.
- Margins: 1 Inch on all sides
- Word limit: Abstract should be 300-500 words with keywords and must be accompanied by the name, designation, and contact details of the Author(s), and the word limit for a full Paper is 3000- 5000 words exclusive of Footnotes.
- Full paper shall be submitted with a plagiarism report of less than 10%.
- Co-authorship: Up to two authors are allowed.

- Selected papers will be published in a book with an ISBN.
