One of the oldest Indian IPR Law Firms, United IPR, is entering a new phase in its rich 69 year legacy with the firm now restructuring itself as United & United. The majority of the leadership and the team remains unchanged with Mr. Shravan Kumar Bansal (the internationally acclaimed and recognized stalwart in the IP Industry) being at the helm of the affairs as the Senior Partner, leading the firm into its new era where it stands more united than ever.
The firm was established as far back as in 1954 by Mr. Krishna Gopal Bansal (Founder and Leading IP Lawyer) as one of the first few dedicated IPR Law Firms in the country. In 1954, the Firm started with the wings K.G. Bansal & Co., and Delhi Registration Service, names which became leaders in IP Filings, Registrations and Litigation over the next decades till date. The Firm spread its wings internationally with the launch of United Overseas Trade Mark Company and United Overseas Patent
Firm in 1985 which saw the clientele of the firm grow throughout the globe for IP law and services in India. All the above wings of the firm were organized under the name United IPR till date, which is now being rebranded into United & United by majority of its stakeholders, leadership and team members.
The move and need to restructure has been prompted by the diversification the Firm which has seen enormous expansion over the years with a dedicated presence in Chennai, India already established last month and offices in Bangladesh coming up in the near future. The team has grown exponentially over the past few years with an overall strength of 110 people across 4 offices in
India as on date. With this in mind, the leadership of the Firm believed that the name United & United will serve better. United & United will strongly uphold the 69 years of legacy of United IPR and will continue to render quality value-added legal services to all its clients in a collaborative and cost-effective manner. Mr.Sheel Kumar Bansal and Mr. Shravan Kumar Bansal will be the firm’s Senior Partners and will oversee all regions.
Under the new organization structure, the firm will be organized into integrated international practice groups led by different practice heads and a new generation of leaders, including Principal Associates – Mr. Ajay Amitabh Suman, Mr. Pankaj Kumar, Mr. Kamal Naresh, Mr. Amit Jha and Mr. Gaurav Gogia; Dynamic Managing Associates – Mrs. Akansha Bansal Sharma, Mr. Rishi Bansal and Mrs. Harshita Bansal; and Senior Associates – Mr. Vasant Chandra, Mr. Vivek Srivastava, Mr. Somnath De, Yahya Sabir, Mr. Praveen Kumar, Mr. Himanshu Chaudhary, Mr. Saurabh Pandey, Mr. Neeraj Chaudhary, Mr. Arpit Singh, Mr. Deepak Shrivastava and Mr. Vibhor Sethi, who have promise and potential to take the organization to the next level of triumph in the fast- growing legal industry.
From now, the team at United & United shall continue extending its services to all its clients, in the national and international markets, with the same zeal, competence and discipline.
