The Central government has appointed retired judge of the Kerala High Court, Justice CK Abdul Rahim as the chairperson of the Kerala Administrative Tribunal (KAT).

The notification issued by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions notifies that “The President is pleased to appoint Justice Shri CK Abdul Rahim Retired Judge of the High Court of Kerala, as Chairman in the Kerala Administrative Tribunal (KAT) for a period of 04 years from the date of assumption of charge of the part of attaining the age of 70 years, or until further orders whichever is the earliest.”

The conditions of service of Justice Shri Ck Abdul Rahim as shall be governed by the provisions of the Tribunals Reforms Act 2021.

About Kerala Administrative Tribunal

The Central Government may, on receipt of a request in this behalf from any State Government, establish by Notification, an Administrative Tribunal for the State to be known as the Kerala Administrative Tribunal to exercise the jurisdiction, powers and authority conferred on the Administrative Tribunal for the State by or under this Act.
