AWARD OF LOIC ADALAT Date: 09.09.2023

The matter is placed before the Lok Adalat today. The MACT, Nohar, District Hanumangarh by its judgment and award dated 23.09.201 9 in MAC Case No.52120 17 awarded a sum of Rs.6,800/- alongwith interest @ 6% per annuin.

With the consent of the parties, the impugned award dated 23.09.2019 is further enhanced by Rs.25,000/- in favour of the claiinant(s)/appellant(s) as a full and final settlement of the case. The amount so agreed shall be deposited by the respondent Insurance Company with the Tribunal within a period of two months froin today failing which, the same shall carry interest @ 7.5% per annum from the date of this order till actual realization. The enhanced amount of compensation be disbursed in terms of the award in the saving bank account of the claimant(s). The award impugned dated 23.09.201 9 passed by MACT, Nohar, District Hanumangarh in Claim Case No.52120 17 is modified accordingly.

In view of the above, the appeal is disposed of. The Registry is directed to send back the record, if any, forthwith.
