This petition has been filed impugning the revised schedule for online transfer drive of teaching cadre, dated 24.08.2023 (Annexure P-9), issued by the respondents.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that in view of the revised transfer schedule issued by the respondents, regular teachers are being transferred to the posts the petitioners are working against on contract basis. It is apprehended that the petitioners will be displaced and their services will be discontinued.

3. Learned State counsel, appearing on advance notice, upon instructions submits that in terms of the amended online transfer policy, the petitioners, who are working as extension lecturers, will be adjusted separately as per availability of the workload in case other teachers are posted against their posts in the transfer drive, and their services will not be discontinued.

4. In view of the statement of learned State counsel, grievance of the

petitioners stands redressed, and the petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
