Through this petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case bearing FIR No.29 dated 06.03.2023, under Section 18 of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (for brevity,'the NDPS Act') (Section 29 of the NDPS Act added later on), registered at Police Station Sadar Ahmadgarh, District Sangrur, Punjab.

Vide order dated 17.04.2023 passed by a Coordinate Bench, the petitioner had been granted ad interim pre-arrest bail and directed to join investigation.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the aforesaid order, the petitioner has joined investigation.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Bikramjit Singh, submits that the petitioner has joined investigation and is now not required for any further investigation.

In view of the above, without commenting on the merits of the

case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 17.04.2023
