Heard the counsel for the parties.

2. The learned Advocate for the petitioner

submits that during the pendency of this petition, the

primary grievance of the petitioner of payment of his

post-retiral dues has been redressed. However, he has Patna High Court CWJC No.18450 of 2018 dt.09-02-2022

not been paid any interest on such delayed payment.

3. As such, this Court directs that in the

event of the petitioner making a suitable representation

before respondent No. 3/the Managing Director, Bihar

State Housing Board, Patna for payment of interest on

delayed payment of his post-retiral dues within a period

of four weeks, a decision shall be taken by the

concerned respondent within a further period of eight

weeks.

4. With the aforesaid observation/direction,

the writ petition stands disposed off.
