When the Controlling Authority had passed orders in respective
PG Cases dated 08.03.2021, directing the University to deposit the
balance of gratuity amount payable to the private respondents herein, the
same came to be challenged by the University, wherein, the University
was directed to deposit the entire balance of the gratuity amount payable

to the private respondents herein. The University had also complied with
the order and after the entire gratuity amount was deposited, the
employees had also withdrawn the same.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the appellant would submit
that the part of the gratuity amount was withheld owing to the objections
of the Government, and now that the employees have withdrawn the
entire amount payable to them, they are not pressing the grounds raised
in the above appeals.
3.In light of the above submissions made, no further orders are
required in the above appeals. Accordingly, all the writ appeals stand
dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous
petitions are closed.
