On the earlier dates also there was default in appearance. The victim of FIR No.49/2020 registered at Mahila Thana, Rewa under Section 354, 506/34 IPC and 7/8 of POCSO Act, 2012 has invoked inherent
powers of this Court conferred under Section 482 CrPC to direct the trial Court to take statement of victim at the earliest and conclude the trial as stipulated in POCSO Act, 2012. The police be also directed to protect the victim from the threat of the offenders.
Now vide judgment dated 18/6/2021 all the private respondents No.2, 3, and 4 namely, Jay Prakash Mishra, Chandra Prakash @ Daddan and Santosh Kumar Mishra have been acquitted by the Special Court (POCSO Act) Rewa stated in Spl. S.T. No.187/2020. Therefore, nothing survives in the present petition and the same is dismissed as rendered infructuous.
