02/26.07.2022. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a
Lawyer and he has provided some opinion with regard to the land in
question as he was the panel Advocate of the Bank, in question. He submits
that no case against the petitioner is made out, however the CBI has
submitted charge-sheet against the petitioner. He further submits that the
case of the petitioner is fully covered in light of the judgment rendered by
the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Central Bureau of
Investigation, Hyderabad v. K. Narayana Rao , reported in (2012) 9
SCC 512.
Mr. Sahay, learned counsel for the CBI will take instruction and file
counter affidavit within four weeks.
Till the next date, so far as the petitioner is concerned, charge shall
not be framed in connection with R.C. Case No.06(S)/2010-AHD-R, pending
in the court of the learned Special Judicial Magistrate, C.B.I. at Dhanbad.
