Heard Mr. A Dutta, the learned counsel appearing for the appellant and Mr. R Sharma, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent No.1.

This is an application for stay of the operation of the impugned judgment and order dated 29.11.2016 passed by the learned Addl. District Judge No.3, FTC, Kamrup (M), Guwahati in MAC Case No.871/2013.

Accordingly, impugned judgment and order dated 29.11.2016 passed by the learned Addl. District Judge No.3, FTC, Kamrup (M), Guwahati in MAC Case No.871/2013 is stayed subject to deposit of 50% of the awarded amount along with interest within 6 (six) weeks from today before the Registry of this Court and the claimants are entitled to withdraw the said amount so deposited by filing an appropriate application before the Registry of this Court.

The I.A stands disposed of.
