AWARD (Passed on 14/03/2026)

1. The present petition has been filed against the impugned order dated

20.02.2020 (Annexure P/1) whereby representation of the petitioner for

promotion has been rejected stating that nobody belonging to Scheduled

Castes category who is junior to petitioner has been promoted on the post

of Assistant Director Agriculture.

2. Today, both the parties filed compromise application stating that during the

pendency of this petition, the petitioner has been superannuated on

30.04.2024 and as such, he does not want to pursue this matter further.

3. In that view of the matter, nothing survives for adjudication and the Writ

Petition is disposed of as withdrawn.

4. A copy of this compromise/docket arrived at by the parties be made part of

this record.
