About the School of Law and Constitutional Studies

School of Law and Constitutional Studies (SLCS) is a constituent department of Shobhit University and is approved by Bar Council of India. The School is imparting legal education since 2013.

It offers courses of BA.LL.B, B.Com.LL.B. (Hons.), BBA.LL.B. (Hons.), LL.B. (3 Yrs. Program), L.L.M (2 Years Program) & LLM (1 Year Program) and Ph.D.

About the Event

Efficacy of ICC and its role, control and prevent the heinous crime of genocide. India is a victim of the crime of genocide since independence.

Though we have thriving democracy and robust criminal justice system, still the crime of genocide is rampant from time immemorial.

It’s is the role of the judiciary, civil society and entire law enforcement agency to work in holistic manner to control this menace and eventually India as a vibrant democracy and its legacy can be fully restored.

The main aim of this expert webinar is:

  • To understand the role and function of International Criminal Court.
  • To examine the causative factor of genocide and the role of International Criminal Court.
