Now, Advocates residing in NCR region of Delhi will be issued weekly passes by this State

To provide easy access to lawyers residing in NCR region of Delhi, State of Haryana has agreed to issue weekly e-passes to all advocates/staff, who wants to visit Delhi for court/legal work.

Interested Advocates may forward their application to Bar council Delhi at barcouncilofdelhi@rediffmail.com with following details to ACS Home Deptt at secyhome1@gmail.com  and cc to Sh. Anil Grover, AAG, Haryana at groveradvocate@gmail.com

Thereafter, Advocate will need to also apply on ‘Saral Haryana’ site, for prompt issuance of e-passes.

Sanjay Rathi, Co-Chairman, Bar Council of Delhi has informed that in view of guideline 7(f) issued by MHA on May 1st, 2020 operation of private offices has been permitted. As such lawyers within Delhi and outside Delhi are entitled to come to their office and attend to their work. The Lawyers residing in NCR are not being allowed to cross border by the State of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, though they are bound by the guidelines issued by MHA dated May 1st, 2020 and the movement of Lawyers cannot be restricted in violation of Article 19(1) (d)....State of UP in their counter affidavit said that adv can apply to thier Nodsl officer for passes. 

He further states that,"State of Haryana has agreed to issue weeklu e-passes to all advocates/staff, who want to visit Delhi for court/legal work. Interested Advocates may forward their application to Bar Council of Delhi".
