The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights is an Indian governmental commission, established by an Act of Parliament, the Commission for Protection of Child Rights Act in December 2005, thus is a statutory body.
The commission works under the aegis of Ministry of Women and Child Development, GoI.

Level 13 in the Pay Matrix as per the 7th Pay Commission: Rs. 15,600-39,100 with Grade Pay ofRs. 7600/- or ten years of regular service in the pay scale of Rs. 15,600/-39,100 with grade pay of Rs. 6600/-;
