Reference is made to the previous orders passed from time to
time. Petitioner has paid a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- out of the amount an
amount of Rs.4,00,000/- imposed upon him by the impugned judgment
and order of sentence passed by learned CJM, Udaipur, Gomati, Tripura in
case No. CR(NI) 4 of 2017, during pendency of this criminal petition. By
the last indulgence granted on 31st March, 2023 the petitioner was to pay
the balance Rs.1,00,000/- within one month.
Mr. D. K. Daschoudhury, learned counsel for the petitioner
submits that neither the petitioner has contacted thereafter despite several
efforts nor he has received any instruction about the payment of the
balance amount. Learned counsel for the respondents also submits that the
balance amount remains unpaid.
On the request of learned counsel for the petitioner one more
indulgence is granted to the petitioner to pay the balance amount.
List the matter on 01.06.2023.
Both the parties shall appear in person on the next date. The
petitioner should come ready with the demand draft or pay the balance
amount of Rs. 1,00,000/- through any other mode including digital mode
by the next date.
