AWARD OF LOK ADALAT Date: 09.09.2023

The matter is placed before the Lok Adalat today. The Additional District Judge (Fast Track) No.3, Udaipur Camp Salumber by its judgment and award dated 02.09.2006 in MAC Case No. 9212005 awarded a sum of Rs.27,500/- alongwith interest @ 6% per annum.

With the consent of the parties, the impugned award dated 02.09.2006 is further enhanced by Rs.40,000/- in favour of the claima~lt(s)/appellant(s)as a full and final settlement of the case. The amount so agreed shall be deposited by the respondent Insurance Company with the 'Tribunal within a period of two months fi-om today failing which, the same shall carry interest @ 7.5% per annum from the date of this order till actual realization. The enhanced amount of compensation be disbursed in terms of the award in the saving bank account of the cls;imant(s). The award impugned dated 02.09.2006 passed by Additional District Judge (Fast Track) No.3, Udaipur Camp Salumber in Claim Case No.92/2005 is modified accordingly.

In view of the above, the appeal is disposed of. The Registry is directed to send back the record, if any, forthwith.
