AWARD OF LOK ADALAT Date: 09.09.2023 The matter is placed before the Lok Adalat today. The MACT Cum Additional District & Session Judge No. 1, Chittorgarh, Camp- Kapasan by its judgment and award dated 19.02.2021 in MAC Case No.33012012 (16512018) awarded a sum of Rs.79,500/- alongwith interest @ 6% per annum.

With the consent of the parties, the impugned award dated 19.02.2021 is further enhanced by Rs.1,30,0001- in favour of the claimmt(s)/appellant(s) as a full and final settlement of the case. The amount so agreed shall be deposited by the respondent Insurance Company with the Tribunal within a period of two months from today failing which, the same shall carry interest @ 7.5% per annum from the date of this order till actual realization. The enhanced amo~lntof compensation be disbursed in terms of the award in the saving bank account of the clairnant(s). The award impugned dated 19.02.2021 passed by MACT Cum Additional District & Session Judge No. 1, Chittorgarh, Camp- Kapasan in Claim Case No.33012012 (16512018) is modified accordingly.

In view of the above, the appeal is disposed of. The Registry is directed to send back the record forthwith.
