This civil contempt petition has been filed alleging willful

disobedience of the order dated 21.02.2018 passed by this Court

whereby, the respondent No.2 was required to pass a reasoned

order on the petitioner's legal notice dated 30.01.2018.

Alleging that no action has been taken in pursuance of the

legal notice dated 30.01.2018, learned counsel for the petitioner

prays that the respondent No.2 may be directed to purge the

contempt and he may also be punished suitably.

Per contra, learned Additional Advocate General would

submit that in pursuance of legal notice, the petitioner has been

required to submit an application in the prescribed proforma

alongwith requisite documents for regularization of the subject

land vide letter dated 02.09.2023. He, therefore, prays for

dismissal of the contempt petition.

Heard. Considered.

Taking into consideration the contentions advanced by

learned counsel for the respective parties, the direction issued by

this Court vide order dated 21.02.2018, contempt whereof is

alleged and the letter dated 02.09.2023 issued by the

respondents, this Court is satisfied that there has been substantial

compliance of the order dated 21.02.2018.

Resultantly, this contempt petition is dismissed.

The notices are discharged.
