On last date i.e. 31.08.2023, following order was passed:
"This contempt petition has been filed alleging willful disobedience of the order dated 16.02.2017 whereby, this Court directed the respondents to extend all the employees similarly situated to the petitioners
[2023:RJ-JP:21111] (2 of 2) [CCP-1678/2019]
benefit of selection grade on completion of 18 & 27 years of service as per para no.5 of the notifications dated 25.01.1992 followed by dated 17.02.1998.
Inviting attention of this Court towards the contents of the reply filed by them and the documents appended therewith, learned counsel for the respondents submits that the petitioner has been extended benefits under the order dated 16.02.2017. She, therefore, prays for dismissal of the contempt petition.
None for the petitioner even in second round. However, in the interest of justice, the petitioner is granted one more opportunity to rebut the aforesaid statement.
List the matter on 05.09.2023 as 'nineteenth case' as prayed."
Today also, none for the petitioner even in second round.
In view thereof, taking into consideration the contention
advanced by the learned counsel for the respondents, this
contempt petition is dismissed.
Notices are discharged.
