Learned counsel for the petitioner Mr.Amit Jindal

submits that the issue relating to violation of provisions of Pre

Conception and Pre Natal Diagnostic Techniques (Prohibition of

Sex Selection) Act, 1994 was subject matter of consideration

before the Apex Court in Writ Petition (Civil) No.349/2006, the

Apex Court by its judgment dated 08.11.2016 has not set aside

the provisions of the said Act, however, the Court has opined that

whenever there is an abuse of the process of law, individual can

always avail the legal remedy.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that some

time may be granted to bring the relevant case law on the issue.
