Heard. Perused the material available on record.

The instant writ petition has been filed on behalf of the

petitioner-convict Chenaram with the plea that the application for

sending the convict to the Open Air Camp has been filed to the

Director General (Prisons), Rajasthan on 06.04.2022 but till date,

the said application has not been decided.

Considering the overall facts and circumstances as noticed

above, we hereby direct that the pending application, if any, filed

on behalf of the convict-petitioner for sending him to Open Air

Camp shall be objectively considered and decided on merits within

a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this

order.

Learned AAG shall communicate this order to the Director

General (Prisons), Rajasthan forthwith.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
