Matter comes up on an application for early listing and

another application for passing appropriate orders filed by

appellants, alleging inter alia that respondent-claimants have filed

execution of impugned judgment and award against appellants,

therefore, appeal be heard earliest and appropriate orders on stay

application be passed.

For the reasons mentioned in application, the same is

allowed.

Heard learned counsel for both parties.

This appeal has been filed by owner and driver of the vehicle,

assailing the judgment and award dated 07.04.2018, wherein

compensation of Rs.5,15,000/- along with interest @ 7.5% per

annum with effect from 14.10.2014 has been passed in favour of

respondents-claimants.

Appeal is admitted for hearing.

In case, appellants deposited a lumpsum amount of Rs.4 lac

within a period of four weeks before the Tribunal, proceedings of

execution of impugned award dated 07.04.2018 against appellants

shall remain stayed. The compensation amount so deposited by

appellants may be disbursed to respondents-claimants.

Accordingly, stay application is disposed of.

Record of the Tribunal be sent forthwith to do the

proceedings of deposition and disbursement of compensation as

mentioned hereinabove and thereafter record be returned to this

Court.

Since service is complete, appeal be listed in due course.
