These appeals arise out of two separate orders passed by the

learned Single Judge on 29.01.2014 and 27.01.2014 respectively

in the writ petitions filed by the respondents herein. Both the

petitions were disposed of in terms of the judgment dated

26.08.2013 passed in S.B. Civil Writ Petition No.7824/2014 -

Mahendra Kumar Vs. State of Rajasthan and others. By the said

judgment, the learned Single Judge had allowed the writ petition

and directed the authorities to grant age relaxation to the

candidates for appointment to the post of Sub Inspector of Police.

We notice that the said judgment of the learned Single Judge

in case of Mahendra Kumar (Supra) was carried in appeal by the

Rajasthan Public Service Commission and the Division Bench by a

detailed judgment dated 25.03.2014 had allowed the appeal and

set aside the judgment of the learned Single Judge.

Under the circumstances, both the appeals are allowed after

condoning the delay in filing the present appeals. The respective

orders of the learned Single Judge are reversed.
