Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned

counsel for the State.

2. The present writ petition has been filed for direction

upon the authority concerned for refund of Rs. 2,64,950/- which he

has deposited on 15.05.2023 as a compounding fee and fine for

compounding in compliance of the letter No. 495 dated 16.05.2023

(Annexure P-5) and it appears from the pleading that the petitioner

had deposited the same and after depositing the amount in

question, the vehicle of the petitioner was released by the authority

concerned and after the releasing of the vehicle in question the Patna High Court CWJC No.18370 of 2023 dt.04-02-2025

petitioner has approached this Court to refund the aforesaid

amount without any reason.

3. There is no merit in the writ petition. Accordingly, it

is dismissed.
