1. The present petition has been filed seeking the

following relief :-

"(i) For quashing the order dated 31.12.2022, passed by the Collector-cum- District Magistrate, Kaimur at Bhabua in Arms Licence case no. 47 of 2017, whereby the court has refused to grant arms license to the petitioner as the petitioner has not received any threat perception upon his life and property."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner

seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to challenge the order Patna High Court CWJC No.8037 of 2023 dt.01-08-2023

dated 31.12.2022, passed by the Collector-cum-District

Magistrate, Kaimur at Bhabua, by filing an appropriate appeal.

Liberty so sought, is granted.

3. It is needless to state that in case, appropriate

appeal is filed within a period of three weeks from today, the

Appellate Authority shall consider the same on merits, without

being impeded by the issue of limitation and pass a reasoned

and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of

six weeks, thereafter.

4. The writ petition stands disposed off on the

aforesaid terms.
