                              JUDGMENT

(Made by Hon'ble, the Chief Justice)

When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the

petitioners submitted that the writ petition may be disposed of by giving

liberty to the petitioners to make a representation to consider their case

with regard to grant of pay scale before the respondent authorities.

Learned counsel further submitted that subsequently, the petitioners

have been brought under the same scale of pay as applicable to others.

2. Since the petitioners have confined the relief only for

considering the representation to be filed before the respondent

authorities, the petitioners are permitted to file their representation, if so

advised, within a period of 2(two) months from the date of receipt of

this order. All the issues raised by the petitioners in the writ petition are

left open. The respondent authorities are directed to consider and

dispose of the representation filed by the petitioners within a period of

eight weeks thereafter, preferably on or before 15.08.2024.

3. WP(C) No. 320 of 2020 stands disposed of.
