This is an application for condonation of delay of 514 days in preferring the criminal appeal against the Judgment & order of conviction and sentence dated 21-12-2022 passed by the Learned Special Judge (POCSO), West Jaintia Hills District, Jowai in Sessions Case No.27 of
2024:MLHC:676
2017. The reasons for delay have been satisfactorily explained at para 4 of the application.
The learned GA appearing for the State-respondent has no objection to the grant of prayer for condonation of delay.
In view of the above, the delay of 514 days in preferring the connected appeal is condoned. The application stands allowed.
