Heard Mr. I. Denning, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr. H. Samarjit, learned G.A. appearing for the respondents.

In view of the limited prayer made by the counsel appearing for the petitioner and as agreed to by both the learned counsel appearing for the parties, the present writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself without waiting for counter affidavit of the respondents.

It has been submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the issue involved in the present writ petition is squarely covered by the judgment and order dated 24.03.2014 passed by this Court in WP(C) No. 31 of 2013 as well as the order dated 23.02.2016 passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in SLP(C) No. 14743 of 2014 and that the present writ petition can be disposed of by granting similar relief to the present petitioner. It has further been submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the State Government has already complied with the aforesaid order passed by this Court as well as Apex Court and also similar relief has been granted to other similarly situated persons. The learned counsel further submitted that the petitioner has already submitted a representation dated 18.04.2022 to the respondents praying for granting similar relief as has been granted by this Court as well as Apex Court in the aforesaid order and that the present writ petition can be disposed of by directing the respondents to consider the said representation dated 18.04.2022 keeping in view the aforesaid judgment and order passed by this Court as well as Hon'ble Apex Court and to dispose of the same by issuing a speaking order within a stipulated period.

Mr. H. Samarjit, learned G.A., fairly submitted that the respondents have no objection in considering the said representation submitted by the petitioner and that the present writ petition can be disposed of as prayed for by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

In view of the submission made above, the present writ petition is hereby disposed of by directing the respondents to consider the said representation dated 18.04.2022 submitted by the petitioner keeping in view the judgment and order dated 24.03.2014 passed by this Court in WP(C) No. 31 of 2013 and the order dated 23.02.2016 passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in SLP(C) No. 14743 of 2014 and to dispose of the same by issuing a speaking order within the period of 2 (two) months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.

With the aforesaid directions, the present writ petition is disposed of.
