ORDER
[1] By way of this joint miscellaneous case, the applicants seek
correction of the mistakes in the cause title of the common judgment and
order dated 22-09-2022 passed in RFA Nos. 2, 3 & 4 of 2015 and
miscellaneous cases filed therein.
[2] It appears that appellant No. 2 in RFA No. 2 of 2015, viz.,
Nahakpam John Singh, who is also the principal respondent No. 2 in RFA
Nos. 3 & 4 of 2015, died on 25-08-2021, leaving behind his son Nahakpam
Rahul Singh. His son was brought on record as his legal representative, by
order dated 14-03-2022 passed in MC(RFA) No. 2 of 2022 (Ref: RFA No. 2
of 2015). Similar steps were taken in the other appeals also. However, the
cause title in the final order dated 22-09-2022 failed to incorporate the name
of the LR of late Nahakpam John Singh.
[3] That apart, respondent No. 2 in RFA No. 2 of 2015, viz., Smt.
Nahakpam Ningol Sairem Ongbi Manishang Devi, is wrongly shown as a
man by describing her as 'Shri' instead of 'Smt.'. Similar mistake was made
in her description in the cause title of RFA No. 4 of 2015.
[4] These are the corrections sought by the applicants. As these
errors are insubstantial in nature, MC(RFA) No. 22 of 2022 is allowed.
The Registry is directed to carry out these amendments in the cause titles
of the three appeals and the miscellaneous cases filed therein in the final
judgment and order dated 22-09-2022.
[5] Amended copy of the judgment and order dated 22-09-2022 shall
be furnished to the parties thereafter, as per due procedure.
