Ms. RK Emily, learned counsel, appears for respondent No. 1 in W.A. No.
1 of 2018. Mr. Athouba Khaidem, learned Government Advocate, appears for the
State authorities. Mr. S. Suresh, learned counsel, appears for the Accountant
General, Manipur.
Having heard the arguments in part advanced by Mr. Kh. Chonjon,
learned senior counsel, appearing for the appellant in W.A. No. No. 50 of 2017, and
respondent No. 1 in W.A. No. 2 of 2018, we are of the opinion that the UGC
Notification of 1988, UGC Regulations of 2000 and UGC Regulations of 2010, which
find mention in the judgment under appeal, would be relevant for this adjudication.
Mr. Athouba Khaidem, learned Government Advocate, seeks time to
compile and place the same before the Court after serving advance copies thereof
upon the learned counsel opposite.
