JUDGMENT
[Order of the Court was made by P.VELMURUGAN, J.]
The appellant herein has filed the writ petition in W.P.(MD).No.
23866 of 2018 challenging the resolution No.2 of the first respondent
pertaining to the meeting held on 13.03.2015 approving the report
restricting the candidates having more than 4 papers to sit for arrear
examination and consequential order of the third respondent rejecting the
examination application of the petitioner, dated 10.09.2018 for M.L.,
degree examination (Private Study) and consequently direct the
respondents to permit to complete the M.L., degree Exams by allowing
him to write all the 10 arrears during December, 2018 Examination. The
same was dismissed by the writ Court. Challenging the same, the
appellant herein has filed the present writ appeal before this Court.

2.It is seen from that records that the appellant now attained the
age of superannuation and he has retired from his service and further the
University where he studied has also abolished the said course.
Therefore, under the said circumstances, since the appellant has attained
superannuation, the relief sought for in the writ appeal has become
infructuous.
3.Accordingly, this writ appeal stands dismissed as infructuous.
There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected
miscellaneous petition is closed.
