                     of Criminal Procedure, to set aside the Judgment dated 07.10.2021 passed
                     in C.A.No.41 of 2019, on the file of the Learned XVIII-Additional District
                     Sessions Judge, at Chennai, confirming the conviction order dated
                     31.12.2018, passed against the accused/petitioner in C.C.No.3136 of 2016
                     on the file of the XX- Metropolitan Magistrate, Chennai and acquit the
                     accused/petitioner in the above case.

                                                            ORDER

Today, when the matter came up for hearing, it is submitted by the

learned counsel for the petitioner that while filing the revision, he has

already filed a Joint Memorandum of Compromise, whereby, the

respondent/complainant and the petitioner/accused have signed in the

Memorandum of Compromise to show that the respondent/complainant

received the amount and willing to compound the issue.

2. In that view of the matter, the Criminal Revision is disposed off by

the following terms:-

(i) The conviction and sentence imposed on the petitioner by the

Judgment dated 07.10.2021 made in C.C.No.3136 of 2016, on the file of

the on the file of the Learned XVIII-Additional District Sessions Judge, at

Chennai, by confirming the conviction order dated 31.12.2018, passed

against the accused/petitioner in C.C.No.3136 of 2016 on the file of the

XX- Metropolitan Magistrate, Chennai, is set aside.

(ii) The offence is treated as compounded.

(iii) Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
