                                                ORDER

This appeal has been preferred against the judgment dated 31.07.2014 passed by Ist Additional Sessions Judge to the Court of Additional Sessions Judge, Tikamgarh, District-Tikamgarh in Sessions Trial No.318/2002 whereby the appellant stands convicted for an offence under Section 376 (2)( >) of IPC and has been sentenced to undergo R.I. for 10 years with fine of Rs.5,000/- and in default, additional R.I. for 2 years.

As per report (No.Q/okjaV/2022, Tikamgarh dated 10.03.2022) received by Shri D.K. Paroha, Public Prosecutor from the Superintendent, District Jail, Tikamgarh, the appellant has completed his sentence awarded by the trial Court and has been released from the jail on 31.08.2020, a copy whereof has been brought on record.

Learned counsel for the appellant submitted that he does not want to press the appeal on merit.

In the aforesaid, the appeal is dismissed as not pressed. Let a copy of this order be sent to the Jail Authorities as well as to the concerned trial Court for information and necessary action.
