Learned counsel for the appellant submits that this interlocutory application has been filed with the prayer to release the appellant on bail during the pendency of this appeal. It is next submitted that the appellant has been convicted and sentenced vide the judgement of conviction dated 08.10.2025 and order of sentence dated 15.10.2025 respectively passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-VI, Hazaribagh in connection with S.T. Case No.359 of 2023 arising out of Korra P.S. Case No.46 of 2023 as under: -

Learned counsel for the appellant submits that it has also been ordered that all the sentences shall run concurrently. It is next submitted that the during the pendency of the trial, the appellant was in custody from 13.04.2023 to 27.07.2023. It is then submitted that though on the date of judgment, the appellant was on bail but after the judgment of conviction he has been taken into custody on 08.10.2025 and since then he has been in custody. It is further submitted that the appellant has very good grounds to agitate in this appeal and there is no likelihood of this appeal being disposed of in near future.

Considering the aforesaid facts of the case, it is ordered that the impugned order of sentence shall remain suspended till disposal of this appeal, upon the appellant, named above furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge-VI, Hazaribagh in connection with S.T. Case No.359 of 2023 arising out of Korra P.S. Case No.46 of 2023 with the condition that the appellant will co-operate with the hearing of this appeal.

Accordingly, this Interlocutory Application is allowed.
